Changes
Oh, life.
What an odd journey.
Every time I think I have you figured out
You up and change on me.
While that definitely keeps things fresh and interesting
It also makes planning for the future rather difficult.
For just once I’d like you to be stale and predictable.
Is that too much to ask?!
Until then…
I suppose I’ll have to take things in stride
Make the best out of the current situation.
And “roll with the punches”, as they say.
I just wish your punches didn’t hurt and leave scars.
Time to toughen up I suppose.
It’s not always easy,
And sometimes life can be deceiving…
